WHEN IS THE LAST DAY I HAVE TO PLACE MY HOLIDAY ORDER IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS?

All orders placed by Sunday December 17 at midnight will be guaranteed delivery on or before Monday, December 25, via the standard shipping rate (pending no unexpected courier delays).

Please note that all orders placed after those dates will be subject to courier shipping schedules and out of our control. Also note that once all holiday orders leave our warehouse, we cannot be responsible for carrier delays, but will do everything we can help.

I WANT TO PLACE MY HOLIDAY ORDER EARLY, BUT DON’T WANT IT DELIVERED UNTIL LATER?

I JUST ORDERED A BOX, BUT IT’S NOT A CHRISTMAS GIFT. WILL IT SHIP ON TIME?

Yes! Non-holiday purchases will follow our normal shipping schedule. One note: once packages leave our warehouse, they’re out of our hands–couriers may have slight delays due to the holidays, so it’s best to get your order in early!

I WANT TO SEND A BOX FOR CHRISTMAS, BUT WANT TO MAKE SURE MY RECIPIENT DOESN’T OPEN IT UNTIL DEC 25. HOW DOES THAT WORK?

Each box is beautifully presented within its courier bag, so even if the recipient opens the bag, the gift will still be a surprise. We will also put a note on the outside informing the recipient that the box is not to be opened until Christmas morning.

I’M ORDERING MULTIPLE HOLIDAY GIFTS, BUT THEY’RE ALL BEING SENT TO ME. HOW CAN I TELL THEM APART?

We’ll place a note on the outside for you telling you which is which and you can add your own Christmas tag.

I’M LOOKING TO PLACE A LARGER CORPORATE ORDER FOR THE HOLIDAYS. WHERE DO I START?

WHAT IF MY BOX DOESN’T GET TO THE ADDRESS I SHIPPED IT TO?

Once a box’s tracking number is active and functional, and our team can see that it’s been delivered, it’s the courier’s responsibility. We can certainly help you track down a package, but especially during peak holiday time, there are often shipping delays that are totally out of our control. Please note that the same goes for typos in inputting a recipient’s shipping addresses, change of addresses, closed businesses, or mail unable to receive in an apartment building.

WHAT IF MY BOX SAYS IT’S BEEN DELIVERED, BUT THE RECIPIENT NEVER GOT IT?

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. If possible, we advise shipping to a business address rather than an apartment building/estate without security. If you can, also let us know which hours they will be at the address and the courier will endeavor to deliver it within those times.

WHAT’S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All sales are final (but trust us, they’ll love it).

FREE SHIPPING ON YOUR FIRST BOX

To welcome you to our team, we’ll cover your shipping costs on the first package.

How it works:

Simply sign up for an account through our site. When checking out, apply the coupon code ‘FREE SHIPPING’ to your order. (applies to domestic shipments only). Happy shopping!

THE FINE PRINT: Our free shipping code does not apply to international orders or cannot be combined (stacked) with any other offers.

DO OUR BOXES SHIP AS SHOWN?

Yes. Each set of products comes in a sophisticated brown craft box with a white belly-band depicting our beautiful minimalistic logo (the stamp of quality, if you will).Every box will ship inside a shipper bag so it stays nice, clean and pretty.

MY BOX IS A GIFT. I DON’T WANT A RECEIPT OR ANY PRICES.

We never include receipts or inventory / packing slips inside any of our boxes, knowing that they are almost always a gift. In terms of prices, no products inside the box will have any prices hiding away either.

IS SHIPPING INCLUDED?

While we’re always striving to keep shipping costs low, per-box shipping is an additional cost, except on your first ever box, where it’s 100% free – see above.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Orders take 1-2 business days to process and 1-3 business days to ship via standard shipping to major centres (sending to expl. Putsonderwater may take a little longer!), depending on where it’s going. If you’re in a pinch (and needed your gift, like, yesterday), email info@boxed- in.co.za, and we’ll see what we can do to help.

WHAT IF I NEED IT THERE ON A SPECIFIC DAY?

If you’d like to make someone’s day especially special, email info@boxed-in.co.za and we will endeavor to make it work.

I DON’T NEED IT DELIVERED ON A SPECIFIC DAY, JUST BY A SPECIFIC DAY. WHAT THEN?

If that’s the case, let us know in the notes what the occasion is (birthday, anniversary, etc.) and we’ll add our custom-designed “DON’T OPEN UNTIL ____” sticker to the front of their package.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We ship anywhere in South Africa.

We can ship international on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee, so email info@boxed-in.co.za if you need help and we’ll see what we can do!

MY BOX SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT MY RECIPIENT NEVER GOT IT.

If a box is delivered according to your tracking but the recipient didn’t get it, our customer care team will do everything our power to locate it by calling the carrier and even the intended delivery building to give you all the information you need. Beyond that, unfortunately this is a rare situation that’s out of our control, and could be attributable to any number of things.

I JUST RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION BUT I REQUESTED MY BOX BE HELD FOR A LATER DATE. HELP!

Our system automatically sends out shipping confirmations with tracking numbers when your order is prepped. Do not be alarmed, we’re still holding it in our warehouse.

No surprises here. Because we take great care in putting together each box, we ship exactly what you see on each product page. On the rare occasion that we are out of stock on a particular item, one of our gifting specialists will personally contact you with options of equal or greater value (and aesthetic).

DO THE BOXES COME WITH A NOTE?

Each box includes a hand-written, custom-designed note. You simply provide us with your message and we’ll handle the rest.

DO THE BOXES EVER CHANGE?

Why yes , they do. We’re constantly innovating and updating our product portfolio to refresh existing boxes, and we’re always coming up with new box ideas. Sign up for our newsletter and you’ll be one of the first in the know!

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A BOX?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a bachelorette party or a corporate affair, we love finding the right mix of products for your special occasion. For inquiries, please email info@boxed-in.co.za. A minimum of 5 boxes needs to be ordered to qualify for customisation.
